meaningful > pretty always… but I still want pretty.

the best moments are grounded in reality.

I work in a lavish industry. but, I spend most of my time doing less than glamourous things.

emails, woodworking, diapers.

I’m all for the glamor, asthetics, and lavish celebration.

The problem is when that eclipses the purpose of wedding day. celebrating the depths of that you’ve experienced with your partner.

weddings are the fruition of millions of little mundane moments spent together. that’s what I look for on a wedding day. (feeding each other, carrying xx, private hugs, etc).
