the best moments are grounded in reality.
I work in a lavish industry. but, I spend most of my time doing less than glamourous things.
emails, woodworking, diapers.
I’m all for the glamor, asthetics, and lavish celebration. But-
the problem becomes when the extragavince eclipses the purpose of wedding day.
celebrating what you’ve over come.
weddings are the fruition of millions of little mundane moments spent together. that’s what I look for on a wedding day. (feeding each other, carrying the dress, glances from across the room, etc). These little moment point us to the scars we’ve endured, and the faithfulness we’ll witness.
